TERMS & PRIVACY

Terms of use
Tripampinator is a music and radio player published by Tesons at tripampinator.tesons.dev and as an Android app. By using it you agree to these terms.
What you may do
Use the app, on the web or on your device, for your own listening. Install it, save stations, songs and podcast episodes for your own use, and share links to stations with others.
What you may not do
The app and its code are © 2026 Marko Milić (Tesons), all rights reserved. A browser receives the code in order to run it; that is not a licence to it. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, sell, host or build on the code or its assets (icons, artwork, texts, translations), in whole or in part, without written permission. The name Tripampinator and the Tesons name and mark may not be used to present a copy or a derivative as ours.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, structure or design of the app or its native shell, nor remove or alter any copyright notice in it — except to the extent applicable law expressly permits this despite the restriction (for example, studying a program while running it, or decompiling for interoperability, where the law grants that right).
What plays is not ours
Radio stations, podcasts and the directories they are found in (radio-browser.info, Apple's podcast directory, the stations' and hosts' own servers) belong to their owners and are reached by your device directly. The app is a player, not a publisher: we do not host, select or endorse what they broadcast, and we cannot make a station available, keep it online or answer for its content. Music you add from your own files or a link is yours to be entitled to play.
Not a safety device
The destination alarm, the parking memory and the locations list are conveniences. They depend on your device's location, its battery settings, the signal and the operating system, any of which can stop them without notice. Do not rely on them to wake you, to find your way, or while driving. Keep your eyes on the road; set things up before you move.
No warranty
The app is provided as is, free of charge, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Tesons is not liable for any loss arising from its use or from it not working — including a missed stop, a lost playlist, data charges from streaming, or a device left awake.
Changes
The app changes with every release and may be withdrawn. These terms may change; the date above says when. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia.
Privacy
The short version, which is also the true one: there is no account, no server of ours, and no analytics. Everything you save stays on your device.
What stays on your device
Your playlists, saved stations and favourites, songs and episodes saved for offline, your settings and skin, saved locations and the parking spot, the destination you set for the alarm, and a small diagnostic log (the last 200 events, for fixing bugs when you send it to us). All of it lives in the browser's or the app's own storage on your device. Clearing the site's data, or uninstalling the app, deletes it. We never see it.
What leaves your device, and to whom
Only what is needed to play and to find things, and only when you ask for it:
- The station or podcast host you play receives the stream request from your device, like any player. What they log is up to them.
- radio-browser.info (a volunteer-run directory) when you open Local stations: the country you picked, and a click for the station you play, which is how its ranking is made.
- Apple's podcast directory when you open Podcasts: the country and your search words.
- OpenStreetMap's Nominatim when you search for a destination, or press Use my location to pick a country: the place name you typed, or your position rounded to about a kilometre.
- Google when you paste a public Google Drive link (the app only): the request for that folder or file.
- GitHub Pages hosts the website. Like every web host, GitHub may log the requests it serves; see GitHub's privacy statement. The app loads nothing from any other third party — no fonts, no scripts, no trackers.
None of these requests carry an identifier of ours, because there is none. We do not sell, share or collect data, and we have nothing to hand over.
Location
Your location is read only when you press something that needs it: Save location, Save parking, Use my location, and the destination alarm while it is armed. It is kept on the device (the saved places) or used once and dropped. It is sent out only to Nominatim as described above, rounded. The app never tracks you in the background unless the alarm is armed, and that tracking ends when you disarm it or it fires.
Shared links
A link you share contains the station's name and stream address and nothing about you.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.
The Android app
The app adds what a browser cannot do, and asks for the permissions that need:
- Notifications and a foreground service, so playback continues with the screen off and the lock screen shows a card with controls.
- Location, and a foreground service that keeps reading it, used only while the destination alarm is armed, so it can fire with the phone in a pocket. The app asks for no background-location permission.
- Full-screen alarm, so the destination alarm can show over the lock screen.
- Vibration, for the alarm.
Nothing else: no contacts, no microphone, no camera, no advertising identifier.
